　　the Middle Atlantic States中大西洋地区: 7州、最重要的为纽约州New York、宾州Pennsylvania、新泽西州New Jersey和马里兰州Maryland。

　　4 葛底斯堡位于宾州Pennsylvania，林肯曾在此发表过演讲Gettysburg Address。

　　2. New York纽约: city of the world世界之城. It is the headquarter of the United Nations. Standing in New York Bay is the Statue of Liberty, a gift presented by the French people in 1877.

　　The heart of the city is Manhattan. Some famous places such as the Wall Street, the U.S. Headquarters, and Broadway Street are all here. New York City is the largest city in the USA.

　　3. The Niagara Fall尼亚加拉大瀑布: are famous falls in North America, 1,240 meters wide, and the drop averages 50 meters. The falls are located between Lake Erie伊利湖 and Lake Ontario安大略湖.

　　5. Philadelphia费城: the site where two Continental Congresses were held in1774 and 1775. In 1787, the convention to set up a federal Constitution was held here; the city was the nation’s capital from 1790 to 1800.
