　　People celebrate Day of the Dead on November 1st and 2nd.

　　Families visit the burial places of their loved ones and make their graves beautiful.

　　家人会来到他们长眠之地缅怀并把墓地布置得很漂亮。

　　They place flowers and lighted candles.

　　人们会放上鲜花和蜡烛，

　　They bring special food and drinks and spend the night celebrating and telling stories with othermembers of their community.

　　而且还会带来特别的饮食，与其他社区成员一起过夜庆祝及讲故事。

　　Traditional food includes a sweetened bread formed in the shape of a person.

　　传统的食物包括人形的甜面包。

　　Friends and family exchange presents such as sugar candies in the form of a skeleton head.

　　朋友之间还会相互交换礼物，比如骷髅头形状的糖果。

　　Families have special places in their homes called altars.

　　有的家庭在家里还专门设有被称为祭坛的特殊地方。

　　Here they place flowers, candles and photographs of the loved one being remembered.
