　　澳大利亚政府有一个部门，专门协助谋求职业的人找工作。这个部门叫联邦就业服务处 (CommonwealthEmployment Service)。在全国各主要城市以及大城市的较大的郊区部设有办事机构。

　　寻找工作的人可以到服务处去登记，并 经常联系，看是否有合适的工作可做。

　　寻找工作还有一个途径，就是看地方报纸的招聘广告。星期六的报纸上，这类广告较多。
