　　a) What do you do?

　　当有人问What do you do?或What do you do for a living?的时候，他们希望你说出自己的职业。例如：

　　What do you do for a living?

　　-I'm a teacher

　　-I'm a fireman

　　-I'm a housewife

　　注意：

　　也可以用What are you doing?来提问。不过这个问句强调现在，而且意味着自上次见面以后，对方的工作有变化。

　　b) What's your job/it like?

　　如果有入问What's your job like?或How do you like your job?的时候，他们希望你说明工作的情况。例如：

　　How do you like your job/it?

　　It's/I find it interesting

　　It's/I find it boring

　　It's/I find it fascinating

　　It's/I find it tiring

　　或

　　It's interesting

　　It's exhausting

　　It's fascinating job

　　It's boring

　　It's hard

　　或

　　It's a/an interesting

　　It's a/an exhausting

　　注意：

　　Work是不可数名词，所以只能用单数。job是可数名词，可以用单数a job，也可以用复数jobs.例如：

　　Peter's a doctor; his wife's a teacher.

　　Both have interesting jobs.

　　带- ing的动词经常用作形容词。

　　Grammar bores me.→ It's boring

　　Geography interests her.→ She finds it interesting，

　　“全时工作”和“部分时间工作”可以这样来表示：

　　He's got a full-time job.

　　She's got a part-time job.

　　She works part- time.
