　　Peter Buck,a famous American female writer,once said “if you want to understand today, you have to search yesterday.” Evidently, it is meant to tell us the significant influence of history to this day and age or the intimate relationship between past and present.

　　Actually, examples proving it are abounded in our daily life. Here I can think of no better illustration of the proverb than the experience of students. In terms of English examination, taking CET-6 as an example, we students prefer to bone up on the past examination papers first in order to pass the exam successfully.
