2018专八翻译训练题：石头

　　中文原文：

　　它不像汉白玉那样的细腻，可以凿下刻字雕花，也不像大青石那样光滑，可以供来浣纱捶布;它静静地卧在那里，院边的槐荫没有庇覆它，花儿也不在它身边生长。荒草便繁衍出来，枝蔓上下，慢慢地，竟锈上了绿苔、黑斑。我们这些做孩子的，也讨厌起它来，曾合伙要搬它走，但力气又不足;虽时时咒骂它，嫌弃它，也无可奈何，只好任它留在那里去了。

　　Translation:

　　It was neither as fine as the white marble that you can carve words or flowers on it, nor as smooth as the blue marble that can be used to wash clothes on; it lay there silently, without pagoda trees at the edge of yard shading it or flowers growing around it. Then weeds multiplied and streched around it, which was gradually covered with green moss ans black spots. As children, we began to hate it and would have moved it away together, but we didn't have enough strength. Although we often cursed it and detested it, there was nothing we could do but leaved it there.
