　　Income Sources of College Students

　　According to the investigation of the income sourcesof students, the income of American and Chinesestudents comes from parents, part-time job andscholarship, However, the percentage of each incomeis quite different, Fifty percent of the Americanstudents income comes from their parents, fifteenpercent comes from the scholarships granted bycolleges and universities and the rest comes frompart-time jobs. Ninety percent of Chinese students'income comes from their parents.

　　In my opinion, the main reasons for the difference is that American students are taught to beindependent when they are very young, while Chinese students are taken such good care ofthat it is very difficult for them to live on their own. What's more, Chinese students have feweropportunities to find part-time jobs.

　　Nowadays more and more Chinese students are seeking part-time jobs. For one thing, somestudents come from poor areast and their parents can't afford the high cost of education. Foranother, they're eager to acquire some social skills and earn some money which will help themdo more in school and live independently, AS far as American students are concerned, I thinkthe sources of American students' income will remain the same.
