　　I am a newly hired employee and should start working in your company next week; however, my only brother is getting married and I have to attend the wedding.In light of this, is it possible to reschedule my starting day to the beginning of the following Week? I am sincerely sorry for all the inconvenience caused by this sudden occurrence. And I will make up the lost days by working overtime.

　　我是新来的员工，约定于下周开始到您的公司工作;但是，我唯一的哥哥要结婚，所以我要去参加哥哥的婚礼。所以，是不是可以调整我下周开始在贵公司工作的开始时间呢?因这种突发事件，给您带来的不便，我感到十分抱歉。我会通过加班来填补误工时间。
