　　英国校园的音乐课程

　　Music plays a big part in British schools.

　　音乐在英国的学校里起着重要作用。

　　Pupils can learn an instrument at school.

　　小学生可以在学校学习一种乐器。

　　Traditionally, school children learn classicalinstruments.

　　传统上，他们学习古典乐器。

　　Younger children often learn the recorder.

　　较小的孩子学习八孔长笛;

　　As they get older, they start to play the violin or piano.

　　等他们长大一点，便开始弹小提琴或钢琴。

　　In fact, nearly one out of five music students is learning the violin.

　　The piano, or keyboard, is more popular with older children at secondary

　　school.

　　However, more pupils than ever before are now learning the guitar, as they

　　Many schools have orchestras and put on concerts each term.

　　It is also common for pupils themselves to form their own bands.
