　　A flash mob is where young people suddenly gatherin a large group for no

　　apparent reason.

　　快闪是指一群年轻人不为什么明显的缘由而突然聚集在一起。

　　Flash mobs can involve hundreds of people who donot all know each

　　other.

　　快闪通常有好几百人参加，他们互不相识，

　　But they all meet at the same time, then leave thearea quickly.

　　在同一时间聚集在一起，又迅速离开。

　　A flash mob can be held for any reason,but usually just to have some

　　fun.

　　快闪族聚集的原因很多，但通常仅仅是为了好玩而已。

　　The people involved in a flash mob do not know the time or place of the

　　meeting until justminutes before it takes place.

　　参加快闪活动的人通常要到开始前的几分钟才知道集会的具体时间和地点。

　　They get the details from a web site,or by e-mail or as a text message on

　　their wireless phone.

　　他们从网站上，或者是通过邮件和手机短信来获取详情。

　　What do people do at flash mobs?

　　快闪族会做些什么呢?

　　Flash mobbers in a store will all ask for the same product.

　　他们聚集的时候会在商店里面要同一件商品。

　　On a street, they may sing a song at the same time,shout meaningless words,

　　hug each otheror make some kind of noise.

　　在大街上，他们会同时唱一首歌，大喊一些没有意义的词语，互相拥抱或制造某种噪音。

　　Then, just as quickly as they came, they leave.

　　然后，就像他们来时那样，他们又快速离开。

　　It all happens in a flash.

　　一切都发生在一瞬间。
